@Harsh_Diwakar, @DebBanerjee, as seen in the last iteration of the course:
You're going to build your front-end app. You're going to code the backend to interact with the database and you're going to write the API and query the API from the front-end. It will cover all spheres of development, kind of like a full stack dev.
Your server is never going to interact with the browser. The code on the server only runs on the server side. It's the client side code sent back by the server that runs on the browser.
Also, while using
http-server, it's not that
It's just that the http-server module comes pre-written to server static files in the directory you run it. Behind the scenes, as seen in the http-server.js file, it makes calls to several other modules for it's functionality. So it's not that there is no coding or functionality, it's just a very high level of abstraction of the code.
